a typewriter, book stand holder.. makes..

I wanted to make a cheap mount/arm suspension for my fume extractor.

A while ago I got an electronic typewriter, that didn’t work anymore, and found a book stand holder (suspension) in a local thrift store for € 1,-.

I used two parts from the type writer to mount the fume extractor to the arm suspension.
The tab ruler had the right diameter,  I bended it into a clamp that holds the fume extractor, and used another part to mount that clamp to the arm suspension.

To mount the arm suspension to a metal microphone  table/stand clamp I designed a 3D part and printed that on my 3D printer, and mounted that to the metal clamp.

The result:
