Got an Atari Lynx II for repair, the audio output is totally distorted and very very low in volume.
I gave the Lynx a recap and replaced the 2 LM386 opamps, after replacing the 2 LM386 opamps the audio signal is still the same, so tried a test speaker.. and that solved the problem.
Only problem is I don’t have a 40mm, 0,2W / 16 Ohms speaker on stock, but the owner of the Lynx had some spare parts including another speaker. So he will replace it when he is getting back the Lynx.
