Received an Amiga 1200 to fix. Someone tried to do a recap on this machine but failed, pads are gone, some are loose, plastic melted.. not a very good job..
Beside those issues the “repairman” sprayed the board with “Flux SK10”.. why ?! The whole board is sticky..
The keyboard fpc top cap even won’t lift.. cleanded the board with PCC and alcohol.
Can’t fixed the melted plastic, but can do a proper recap and fix the connectivity of the lost pads.
